Who we are

Yard Puller is a used-auto-parts valuation and listing tool operated by its developer in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. This policy says what the tool keeps about you, why, for how long, and how to have it removed.

What we keep today

Today the tool has no user accounts. It reads public eBay listing data through eBay's Browse API using the tool's own application credentials, and it keeps only aggregate, non-personal market information: part numbers, how many listings exist for each, and price statistics. Nothing about any eBay user is collected or stored.

What we will keep when you connect an eBay account

A coming version lets an operator connect their own eBay seller account through eBay's sign-in. If you do, the tool will keep:

• your eBay user identifier and the access tokens eBay issues, so the tool can act on your account when you ask it to;
• the listings, offers and order details the tool creates or reads for you, so it can show you what it did and what sold;
• the parts you record as pulled, listed and sold, and the yard visits you log, which are your own working records.

Each operator's data is kept in its own separate store on the tool's own server. It is used only to serve that operator. It is never sold, shared or used to serve anyone else. The only third party that receives any of it is eBay itself, through eBay's own APIs, to do what you asked.

How long, and how to have it removed

• Your data is kept while your account is connected.
• Disconnect at any time from within the tool, or by writing to the address below; your store is deleted promptly and in any case within 30 days.
• If you close or delete your eBay account, eBay notifies the tool and your store is deleted the same way.
• Backups that may contain your data are encrypted and expire on a rolling schedule of at most twelve months.

Cookies and tracking

The tool uses no advertising or analytics trackers. A session cookie may be used to keep you signed in; nothing else is set.

Changes

If this policy changes, the effective date above changes with it and the previous text stays available on request.
